“I’ve been taking lessons with Kelsey for about a year and a half, and have made significant progress in my singing ability. Kelsey is patient, professional and highly knowledgeable, and is always able to assess where my troubles are and provide me with advice that works. I have been treated respectfully and communicated with professionally the entirety of my time studying here. I highly recommend Dustin Kaufman Music.”

I work with Andrew Moore, who is with Dustin Kaufman Music. Andrew is probably the best guitar instructor that anyone could hope for. I have learned so much from Andrew and being a two month old student , I feel that the lessons I’ve taken have brought me much farther than I ever anticipated as beginner guitar student. It’s been great working with Dustin and Andrew and I will be continuing my lessons! Having a good time learning, and that’s what it’s all about for me

About Dustin Kaufman Music
After graduating from the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music and earning a Master of Music Degree from the Manhattan School of Music and a Master of Arts Degree from Columbia University, Dustin Kaufman established his career in music as the drummer for the band St. Lucia, a popular indie pop band. His career led him on tours around the world. The band has also been featured on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Late Night with Seth Meyers, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Good Morning America, as well as Coachella, Hollywood Bowl, Lollapalooza and many other major festivals and venues.
As Covid hit the world in 2020 and everything changed, Dustin saw the potential for private, virtual music lessons. Having always been passionate about teaching, Dustin saw this as an opportunity to really dive into helping others develop their drumming skills. His schedule quickly filled up, and Dustin realized the access he had to students from all over the world!
Expanding lessons through his incredible network of musicians for all types of instruments was a natural next step. Today, Dustin Kaufman Music offers lessons for all instruments and features instructors who’ve not only earned degrees from prestigious schools and conservatories such as the Manhattan School of Music, Juilliard, and Berklee College of Music, but who also have a ton of professional experience that directly impacts lesson effectiveness for every student.
