Linda Collazo

Piano & Vocal Instructor

Audiences throughout the U.S. have heard Bronx-born Ecuadorian and Puerto-Rican Mezzo-Soprano Linda Collazo at venues including Carnegie Hall, the United Nations, Lincoln Center, and the United Palace Theater. Described as having a voice that is “elastic and luxurious…” (Ars Raving Mad), her most recent credits include being a young artist at Opera Orlando, Charlottesville Opera, Opera Naples, and the Aspen Music Festival.

She has also performed alongside the likes of Ken Burns and Sonia Manzano at Symphony Space and for Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor at the Bronx Children’s Museum. Linda is the winner of encouragement awards from the Gerda Lissner Foundation and the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition. She has been featured on News12 The Bronx, CBS TV, and BronxNet TV for her work as a singer and teacher.

Being an alumni of Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School and the CUNY Macaulay Honors College, Linda understands the importance of music education and has received sponsorships from the Hunts Point Alliance For Children to teach low-income children for free in the Bronx. Linda’s work as a music educator and performer led her to being named an honoree by the Bronx Borough President for Women’s History Month in 2025.
